Natwest THRIVE

Coleman Training Development in Bradford welcomed Karen and Kim from Natwest who deliver their THRIVE project. The Supported Interns learned marketing skills and debating skills in order to sell their product to a group of judges.

Over the past several weeks we've been visited by Kim and Karen from NatWest to deliver their THRIVE initiative to our Interns.

The THRIVE project delivers bite-sized pieces of learning from how to manage money to developing an entrepreneurial mindset.

On this particular week, the interns were asked to develop a marketing plan for either a cake, or some buns, and then sell their product to a group of judges.

They worked in teams to develop an advert or a presentation, and then debated with each other about why their product was "better".

At the end they each congratulated the winning team, shook hands and all ate the cakes together!
